A great country blues connoisseur and player, explores a musical territory between piedmont blues and ragtime. His fingerpicking is characterized by a rhythmic alternating bass, without unnecessary technicalities. Besides the acoustic and the resonator guitars he also plays mandolin and ukulele. Max formed musically in the late ’70s listening to the great masters of the Country Blues guitar such as Blind Blake, Leadbelly, Rev Gary Davis, Sam Chatmon, Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, and quickly forging his own personal style.
